Co Labs is a new community Initiative with a focus of helping out other community groups, by sharing resources, information, skills and facilitating open collaborations.

Every day we dispose of valuable materials that have fulfilled their use,
we want to capture and store these materials, so we can put them to use for our community.
"There is no recovery from obsolete products."
We are going to collect various types of everyday waste and materials to develop a resource pool.

It is our mission to create meaningful installations and exhibits, using reclaimed materials, design thinking, and access to space and equipment, to show community creations can be developed on next to no budget.
It starts with developing a resource pool once we have applicable materials, we will host a series of workshops where we invite students, designers, and members of the public to join us as we use creative thinking & good old kiwi ingenuity to design constructs of value, purpose and meaning out of reclaimed waste embracing circular and green methods.
With these collected materials, we can make almost anything.
But to do that we need plans to guide us.
Through collaboration, with designers, builders, architects and creatives, we want to create blueprints for potential builds that can solve a problem or facilitate an initiative or group. In the future, we want to host an open-source archive of blueprints, plans & Ideas, for anyone who wants to learn or improve.
With materials and plans, we have reached the last key component.

Whether it’s by volunteers, a design workshop or an open public event, with the right tools, skills, and attitude, we have the unique opportunity of endless possibilities, making things of value from the once worthless, from waste to wonder.
